Jon, u know i ask that question and therefore "yes, that question is damn straight fair". The words "i love u" can be strong, powerful, and capture a world of emotions. They can mean so much or so little. So, if anyone is gonna let those words come outta their mouth, i hope they mean it and know what it encompasses. Although "love" does not mean the same thing to everyone, i think it should be made clear wtf people mean when those words come out of their mouth. For example "i love you. now will you sleep with me" or "i love you. thats for making me feel special" u get my drift? So, the question "why do you love me?" tends to clear up any possible misinterpretations by giving me an insight on what the hell is going on inside their brain. i think its like that true or false question: all is fair in love and war. Say what u want but mean what u say. Know what u are saying.
