One should never have to believe oneself as being "religious" because the word is derived from the word religion. However, having a religion means that you follow a certain SET of predetermined rules that you follow because it's your religion. However, that isn't exactly the way it's supposed to work I don't think. Your beliefs shouldn't be in a set list. All too often, people are born INTO a religion and it's set for them from the day they were born so they are brought up to believe in the religion they were born into, which isn't entirely the same as following the religion they believe in. They believe in that religion because they were brought up to THINK that way, which kinda skewers it.

I don't believe in the word "clan". I believe in individuality as well as families, but not clans. Maybe it's the word itself, I'm not sure. I just don't like it.

As I have mentioned before, I don't believe myself to be "religious". I believe myself to be spiritual, reflective, and a believer of God and Christ. If you REALLY want to snub me as something, just to give yourself a piece of mind, I am Christian, for I believe in Christ. Those who believe in Christ are Christians, and I am thus.

I believe in Christ and God because I have felt their presence in my life. Truly. When I have been unhappy with myself and my life, I pray. No, I don't talk to myself. I PRAY. When I pray, I feel a sense of comfort within myself, and when I ask my Lord questions, sometimes meaningful thoughts pop into my head, as if they were answers to my questions. Coincidentially enough, every thought that pops into my head is like a teaching of Jesus telling me that this is the way to be, to go. Whenever I don't receive a response in this way, I know in my heart that those questions must be answered by myself and through my own experiences. It's difficult to come up with examples, but this happens, the pieces of my puzzle fits, and thus I believe.

This is why I believe in God and Christ. Not only do They bring me hope, but I can FEEL their presence. This feeling, I know, cannot and should not be ignored. And so I don't ignore it. I believe it.

"I'm not saying that there or there isn't. I'm just saying that it is good to have a back up. Look at it this way, every1 should be apart of a crew. I mean, what if something happens? At least someone will fight for you. You think you can fight for yourself? Mofia, gangs, whatever you wanna call it, at least you'll have some back up."
i dunno if heaven and hell exist but the mofia thing sounds kinda cool and i wanna get buried in a cemetary and married in a church. There religion on my part.
What's your reason for being part of a clan?

Beliefs

On the topic of spirituality and believing in God the Almighty, I just want to note that I don`t like the way religion is viewed. Many feel that it is a way of life, and it defines who you are and what you believe. I find it the reverse: what you believe and who you are will eventually lead you to a religion that suits you best, because to me, all these separations of religious ethinicities stand for one thing: you all praise God in your own way, in the way that you`ve experienced Him in your life, and religion is a discipline to guide your values. That`s all. Why argue about it? Why hate each other because of the differences in these experiences?

As Mother Teresa states, once you have found God, you praise Him in your own righteous way, be it Buddhism, Christianity, etc.

For the atheists.. in my eyes, they`ve just never experienced God or they don`t recognize His presence in their lives, and thus have no reason to believe in His existance. That`s all. No disrespects.
